Why the OM Seating Ginny is a Crowd-Pleaser for Commercial Spaces

Finding a commercial seating solution that balances durability, style, and versatility can feel like a tall order. As an Indoff Partner, I work with a lot of different clients—from corporate offices to bustling healthcare facilities—and there is one chair series that consistently receives glowing feedback: the OM Seating Ginny.

My clients love the Ginny because it doesn’t compromise. It’s built like a tank but styled for modern spaces. Here is a closer look at why the Ginny series stands out from the crowd.

Stout Construction Built to Last

When you invest in commercial furniture, you need to know it can handle heavy daily use. The Ginny series is engineered for serious durability.

  • High Weight Capacities: The standard Ginny Guest and Tasker models are rated for up to 300 lbs.

  • Ginny Bariatric: For heavy-duty needs, the Bariatric model supports up to 600 lbs., offering inclusive, sturdy support without sacrificing the sleek look of the rest of the line.

Thoughtful, Facility-Friendly Design

OM Seating paid close attention to the little details that facilities managers and cleaning crews appreciate.

  • Wall Saver Design: The guest and bariatric models are engineered so the backrest won’t scrape or scuff your drywall, saving you money on paint and repairs.

  • Vertical Clean-Out: A smart gap between the seat and back allows dirt, crumbs, and debris to be wiped away instantly.

  • Upholstered Back shell: Gives the chair a premium, fully finished look from every angle, making it perfect for open spaces.

Modern Style with Endless Customization

The Ginny doesn’t look like your average, sterile utility chair. It features elegant design flairs like flat oval tubing and mirror-curved arm frames, topped with soft-touch PU arms for extra comfort.

Even better, it’s a chameleon. You can mix and match options to fit your exact aesthetic and functional needs:

  • Mobility: Choose between standard glides or smooth casters.

  • Configurations: Available with or without arms to suit different spaces.

  • Space-Saving: The Ginny Guest model stacks 3 high, making it incredibly easy to store when you need to clear the room.

  • Finishes: A myriad of frame colors and upholstery options are available to match your brand.

The Indoff Advantage Because the Ginny line is so customizable, having an expert guide you through the options ensures you get the perfect fit for your budget and space. Whether you need a sleek task chair for an employee desk or robust seating for a high-traffic waiting room, I can help you configure the perfect Ginny setup.

The Indoff Standard: A Custom Approach to Every Project

As an Indoff Partner, I approach every assignment with a simple philosophy: treat every project as if it were the only project on my desk. I handle your office furniture with the exact same care and attention to detail as if it were my own.

This past Friday, that hands-on philosophy was put to the test. The goal? Clear out a massive, outdated footprint to open up the room and create a dynamic, collaborative teaming space for the client.

The Project: Scaling Down a Major Setup

To pave the way for this new collaborative environment, I was tasked with completely disassembling a substantial Teknion Expansion desk unit (7′ wide by 6′ deep), along with a massive double-high 72″ storage credenza.

While I frequently partner with the incredible team at Firefighters on the Move for larger projects, this particular job was one I knew I could handle solo through careful planning and strategy.

The Challenge: Tight Spaces & Stair Carries

Because of the sheer size of the units and the building’s constraints, a standard “breakdown and go” wasn’t an option. This required a complete disassembly to navigate a tight stairwell, as the passenger elevator simply wasn’t large enough to handle the 7-foot pieces.

To make it work smoothly without disrupting the office, I portioned out each phase of the disassembly step-by-step. This allowed me to systematically create the necessary staging area required to safely move the heavy components down the stairs.

The Result: Efficiency in Action

Thanks to proper planning, the entire project went incredibly smoothly. The client was thrilled to have their space freed up and ready to be transformed into their new team collaboration hub. Best of all, I was able to wrap up the entire disassembly, stair carry, and staging in just two hours.

Looking Ahead to a Busy Week

With Friday’s project successfully in the books, it’s time to pivot to a busy Monday! Today, I’m focused on closing out a few exciting new contract furniture projects and reaching out to my annuity clients to share some fantastic new contract furniture products hitting the market.

Ready to transform your office layout and create a better space for your team to collaborate? Let’s connect and bring the Indoff standard to your workspace!

Summer Break is Asset Upgrade Season

While the campus is quiet, the work does not stop. As an Indoff Partner, I recently completed a wall-attached Allsteel Concensys workstation installation for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Executing this project during the summer break allowed us to complete the layout efficiently, ensuring zero disruption to the upcoming academic term.

The True Value of Quality Systems Furniture

Investing in tier-one contract furniture like Allsteel Concensys is a major step toward commercial sustainability. True environmental responsibility isn’t just about recycling; it is about extending the lifecycle of our physical assets.

  • Diverting from Landfills: High-quality commercial furniture is engineered for reconfiguration, relocation, and decades of use. Buying contract-grade pieces prevents the frequent replacement cycles that send cheaper alternatives directly to the landfill.

  • Built for the Long Haul: The structural integrity of the Concensys system ensures it can handle the heavy demands of a bustling university environment year after year.

  • Adaptable Design: The modular, wall-attached design means these stations can be updated or adapted as the university’s spatial needs evolve, rather than being discarded.

A Continuous Pipeline of Projects

Today marks the kickoff of a major, consecutive series of installations that I will be managing over the coming weeks.

Sustainable space management requires a partner who understands how to source durable products and install them to maximize their lifespan. Whether you are managing higher education facilities, corporate headquarters, or healthcare networks, your furniture choices impact your bottom line and your carbon footprint.

Looking to upgrade your environment with a focus on longevity and sustainability? As your dedicated Indoff Partner, I handle everything from sourcing sustainable, high-performance contract furniture to professional, precise installation.

Please send a direct message or comment below to discuss your upcoming project requirements.

The Future of Work is Flexible: Top Takeaways from NeoCon 2026

The commercial interiors world just wrapped up its biggest week of the year. NeoCon 2026 took over THE MART in Chicago under the banner “Where Design Connects,” bringing together thousands of designers, manufacturers, and industry experts.

As an Indoff Partner, I always keep my eyes glued to these major events because the trends debuting in Chicago this month dictate exactly how my clients will want to reconfigure, update, and build out their workspaces tomorrow. Here are the three massive shifts from the show floor that are completely changing the game right now.

“Modern office design is no longer about static furniture configurations—it’s about creating responsive, human-centered ecosystems.”

Say Hello to the “Frictionless Modular Ecosystem”

The conversation around layout flexibility has evolved past simple rolling tables. In 2026, the entire industry is pivoting toward “fluid architectural neighborhoods.” The ultimate winner of the Best of Competition award went to KI’s Cognetic Technology—a system built to move intuitively with the human body’s natural motions rather than locking users into a single posture.

Additionally, systems like Haworth’s Gold-winning Gallerie workstations are proving that corporate clients demand environments that can scale up, down, or entirely shift on a dime without requiring major structural renovations.

Open-Plan with Acoustic Protection

We’ve officially moved past the completely exposed, noisy open-office formats of the past. The consensus at NeoCon 2026 is “boundaries without borders.” The show floor was packed with micro-architectural zones, quiet tech pods, and high-performance partition lines like BuzziSpace’s award-winning BuzziTent Light.

Clients don’t want to build permanent drywall offices anymore; they want flexible, high-performance acoustic layers we love to deploy that offer focus-room privacy while keeping the floorplan inviting and agile.

Deep Finishes & “Maximalist Storytelling”

Aesthetically, the cold, clinical, all-white offices of the 2010s have taken a back seat. This year, showrooms traded minimalism for intentional, deeply layered spaces featuring retro-analog throwbacks, bold tactile textures, and moodier, grounding color palettes—think oxblood reds, deep burgundies, rich charcoals, and warm wood accents. Offices are being built to feel like high-end hospitality sanctuaries that people want to interact with.

Bringing Chicago Innovation to Your Floorplan

The most exciting takeaway from NeoCon 2026 is that reconfigurability is the ultimate form of sustainability. Taking elite, highly modular furniture assets and engineered components, indexing them flawlessly, and redeploying them to match a company’s modern rhythm is exactly what the future of corporate design looks like.

Are you ready to evolve your current workspace into a high-performing, flexible layout that boosts team synergy? Let’s connect and engineer a space built for tomorrow, today.

Space to Synergy: Transforming Workspaces with Teknion & Strategic Design

There is a powerful psychological shift when an office transforms from a rigid array of furniture into a fluid, welcoming environment. As an Indoff Partner, my goal is never just about placing desks in a room—it is about engineering spaces that foster collaboration while respecting individual privacy boundaries.

Our upcoming reconfiguration project does exactly that, utilizing the impressive acoustic properties of Teknion Boulevard 80″ high panels paired with modular Expansion desk units.

“Strategic office design doesn’t just manage square footage; it choreographs human interaction and energy.”

Our 5-Phase Transformation Blueprint

To minimize client downtime and maximize asset longevity, we approach reconfigurations through a highly systematic lifecycle:

  • 1. Inventory & Design: We exhaustively catalog every structural connector, electrical feed, and workspace surface before mapping out the new design. To prevent 80″ high panels from feeling maze-like, we balance them with clusters of open-plan Expansion desks to blend “Focus Zones” with “Interaction Hubs.”

  • 2. Layout Approvals: We secure client sign-off using clear architectural layouts and code every component for its future destination before a single tool touches a bolt.

  • 3. Disassemble, Sort, & Move: Teknion systems rely on highly engineered, proprietary hardware. We systematically tear down, sort components by category, and bag hardware by station to eliminate transit damage and staging confusion.

  • 4. Reinstallation & Leveling: With 80″ tall panels, a minor variation at floor level creates massive gaps at the top. We pinpoint the floor’s highest point and level outward, smoothly anchoring the Expansion desks into a perfectly rigid frame.

  • 5. Asset Audit & Walkthrough: Post-install, we log any remaining inventory as valuable modular capital for future client growth. We conclude with a white-glove walkthrough—testing electrical lines, cleaning acoustic fabrics, and ensuring absolute satisfaction.

Looking Ahead

This project represents what Indoff Partners do best: turning complex logistical puzzles into beautiful, high-performing corporate realities. I am incredibly excited to deliver a finished workspace that boosts employee synergy, productivity, and office morale.

As your local Indoff partner, I pride myself on delivering the quality products your businesses rely on every single day. Today, I’m sharing an important update about one of our premier furniture manufacturers, PS Furniture, whose community was recently devastated by a severe tornado.

The Search is Over: The Ultimate Task Chair for Tall Professionals (Case Study)

If you are on the taller side, you already know the struggle. Most standard office chairs leave you feeling like you’re sitting in a middle-school desk. Your knees are too high, your lower back lacks support, and after a long day of work, your body pays the price.

Recently, a client came to us who had been sitting uncomfortably for years. At their height, finding a chair that actually fit their frame felt impossible.

We introduced them to the OM Seating Paramount PTYM-XT equipped with JR69 adjustable arms—and it hit every single mark. It wasn’t just a minor upgrade; it was the perfect solution.

Here is why this specific build is a game-changer for tall professionals.

1. True Deep-Seat Comfort + Memory Foam Relief

Most chairs lack the depth required for longer legs, leaving your thighs unsupported. The Paramount PTYM-XT features an expansive seat width of 23.5″ and an adjustable seat depth ranging from 20.5″ to 23.6″.

Best of all? We built this one with premium memory foam in the seat. For someone who has been sitting uncomfortably for a long time, this memory foam layer is a lifesaver. It contours to your body, redistributes weight evenly, and eliminates the painful pressure points that standard foam chairs cause during long work sessions.

2. A Massive 11-Inch Height Range

Say goodbye to sitting with your knees bent at awkward, painful angles. With an overall height range of 47″ to 58″ and a seat height that adjusts from 19″ up to 25″, this chair is built from the ground up to accommodate a taller stature.

3. High-Back Support That Actually Reaches Your Shoulders

A standard “high-back” chair often ends at a tall person’s shoulder blades. The PTYM-XT features a massive 19.5″w x 28″h backrest with a 4″ travel range, allowing you to independently adjust the lumbar support to lock perfectly into the curve of your spine.

4. JR69 Adjustable Arms: The Perfect Ergonomic Finish

Paired with the ultra-adjustable JR69 arms, this chair allows you to customize the height, width, and angle of your armrests. This drops your shoulders into a relaxed, natural position, instantly relieving neck and upper-back tension.

Behind the Build: Function Over Flash with Teknion Boulevard

When people think of office installations, they often picture the flashy, high-design aesthetic of the finished space. But as an Indoff Partner, I know that true office “glamour” is often about something much more satisfying: pure, seamless functionality.

I recently wrapped up an installation where the goal wasn’t just to make a room look good—it was to solve a real workflow puzzle.

The Challenge: A Shared Space for Collaboration & Support

The client needed a highly collaborative environment designed for five people: four height-adjustable desk units and one team administrator. The goal was to give everyone enough privacy to focus, while still keeping the team connected and the administrator easily accessible.

My task was to clear the slate and completely plan the space utilizing Teknion Boulevard systems furniture.

Enter the Tool of the Trade

If you’ve ever worked with Teknion Boulevard, you know it is a basic but incredibly highly-engineered system. In fact, it’s so well-built that disassembling and configuring the panels required a specific tool from my kit: my trusty, spring-assisted Kershaw knife. It’s a testament to how securely these systems lock together; they are built to last, cost-effective, and remarkably sturdy.

Why I Appreciate This Product

From an installer’s and a user’s perspective, Teknion Boulevard has some fantastic engineered details that make a huge difference in a daily workspace:

  • Power at the Beltline: Unlike systems that force you to crawl around on the floor to plug things in, this product offers power right at the beltline. It’s incredibly convenient for height-adjustable desks.

  • Acoustic Integrity: The panels are acoustic and stackable to the exact desired height, giving the team the perfect amount of boundary.

  • Letting the Light In: We integrated glass into the top of the panels. This helps significantly with sound dampening while ensuring the space still feels open, bright, and collaborative.

The Result

Thanks to the smart engineering of the product and a solid plan, I was able to take this project from a blank slate to a fully functioning team hub in just one day.

A space doesn’t have to be a sprawling executive suite to be a major win. Seeing a team get a highly functional, ergonomic space that actually helps them do their jobs better is the best part of being an Indoff Partner.

Big News in Lincoln: Indoff Partner with UNL to Transform Campus Reception Spaces!

First impressions are everything on a campus as prestigious as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Whether it’s a prospective student visiting an admissions office, a donor arriving at a departmental lobby, or a student heading into a high-traffic administrative center, the reception area sets the tone for the entire Husker experience.

That is why I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Indoff has officially been selected to supply new reception furniture for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln!

To elevate these high-traffic campus spaces, we are bringing in a powerhouse combination from Stance Healthcare: the sleek Cassia seating collection and ultra-functional Capri tables.

Here is a look at why this specific combination is the perfect fit for the “modern academic aesthetic” and “campus-ready durability” UNL demands.

Cassia Seating: Modern Lines for a “Big Ten” Environment

The Cassia collection brings a clean, contemporary profile that complements UNL’s mix of historic and cutting-edge architecture. But beyond the style, it is engineered for the rigors of a major university:

  • Husker-Strength Durability: With a 14-gauge steel framework, Cassia is built to withstand the constant “sit and stand” cycle of a busy campus reception. It offers long-term structural integrity that standard commercial furniture simply can’t match.

  • Invisible Maintenance: Campus cleanliness is a top priority. Cassia’s concealed clean-out space allows staff to sanitize seating quickly and thoroughly without ruining the chair’s sleek lines.

  • Customizable for Every Department: From the warmth of wood arm caps for a dean’s office to high-durability polyurethane for a student union, Cassia offers the finishes and contrasting fabrics needed to represent specific college brands.

Capri Tables: Functional Design That Connects

To complete the look, the Capri table offers a sleek, tapered base that avoids the “heavy” look of traditional drum tables, keeping reception areas feeling open and airy.

  • Integrated Power for Students: Today’s students are always on their devices. Capri tables feature built-in power and USB receptacles, allowing visitors to charge phones or laptops while they wait.

  • Built to Last: The high-pressure laminate tops are designed to resist scratches and handle heavy-duty cleaning agents, while a steel bottom plate protects the base from vacuum cleaners and heavy foot traffic.

  • Tamper-Resistant Features: On a college campus, furniture needs to stay put. Capri’s glides are tamper-resistant and non-removable, ensuring the university’s investment remains exactly where it was designed to be.

Your Local Lincoln Partner

Choosing furniture for higher education requires a partner who understands both the university’s rigorous standards and the local community. Having successfully provided durable seating solutions to high-pressure local environments like area Urgent Cares and the Nebraska State Patrol, I know exactly what it takes for furniture to survive and thrive in Lincoln.

I am incredibly proud to support the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in welcoming the next generation of Huskers with spaces that are inclusive, safe, and stunning.

Looking to upgrade your campus or commercial space? From navigating moisture barriers to meeting BIFMA-certified standards, I am here to provide expert, local guidance.

Why CEDARS Hits Close to Home for Me—And How Lincoln Can Help Today

Watching the channel 10/11 news coverage this morning about CEDARS Youth Services woke up something deep inside me. It brought back a lot of memories, and it reminded me of why we must protect the most vulnerable members of our community: our children.

Being raised by two combat veterans, I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate a quiet, isolating world. I know the distinct loneliness of a young person trying to deal with poverty, trying to fit into a world where you feel entirely alone, and carrying weight that no child should have to bear. Through my life and work, individuals have shared their stories with me—stories of abuse and trauma that I will never repeat out of deep respect for their privacy. It is a heartbreak and a shame that young people in our city have to face these realities.

No child should ever feel invisible or unsafe. For nearly 80 years, CEDARS has been standing in the gap right here in Lincoln, acting as a vital safety net by providing emergency shelter, foster care support, and a safe haven for kids who have nowhere else to turn.

As an Indoff Partner supporting the Lincoln area, my business is about building functional spaces, but my heart is in building a stronger community. Today is Give to Lincoln Day, and the safety net for these kids relies heavily on us. I am reaching out to ask the public, my clients, and my neighbors to join me in supporting CEDARS.

Let’s show these young people that they are not alone, that they fit into our community, and that we are willing to stand up for them.

The Guard Shuffle: What Happened to the Peace?

In 1976, when I served with the Iowa National Guard, we were trained with a clear philosophy: restraint. The lessons of Kent State were fresh, and our goal was to control the crowd, not kill.

We stood behind full-height plexiglass shields, wearing gas masks and carrying 36-inch batons. Our primary tool was the “National Guard Shuffle”—a uniform, intimidating movement designed to move a crowd back without a shot being fired. If we carried a weapon it was a M203, and it was strictly for CS gas. We were trained to shoot below the waist only as a final resort. If someone breached the line, they were handcuffed and removed.

The Enemy Behind the Curtain

Looking at the world now, humanity has taken a dark turn. The “enemy” isn’t the person in the crowd anymore; it’s the guy with the money. We are seeing fully funded operations where evil people are planted to carry out unthinkable terror.

This decline has festered up to the administration under Joe Biden. It is no longer about peaceful protest—it’s about destabilization.

A New Reality

As an old Guardsman, I used to believe in the line we held. Now, I wonder about my family’s safety every day. We’ve traded order and uniformity for a world where terror is funded, the target area has moved to center mass, and the rules I served under have been tossed aside. What happened to us?

A Moment of Remembrance: Beyond the Flight Line

As Memorial Day approaches, my thoughts often drift back to my time as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy, working ground support for the F-14 Tomcat.

Those of us who worked the line knew the risks, but nothing prepares you for the reality of loss. In just one year, I witnessed the weight of that sacrifice—crashes that took the lives of skilled pilots and the passing of dear shipmates who became like family.

One memory stays with me above all others: being the first to reach a crash site and realizing the only thing left to do was offer a hand to hold and a word of comfort. I told him he wasn’t alone, that God was watching over him, and I stayed until he was in care. He passed the next morning.

To some, Memorial Day is a long weekend or a start to summer. For those of us who served, it is a day to sit with the names and faces of those who didn’t come home.

The weekend of 25May, I’m taking a moment away from CAD drawings and furniture layouts to remember the brave men and women I served with at NAS Miramar. We honor their memory by living well and working hard in the country they gave everything to protect.

Fair Winds and Following Seas to my fallen shipmates. You are not forgotten.

A True Hard Charger: Celebrating My Granddaughter

There are moments in life that stop you in your tracks and remind you what real strength looks like. This past weekend was one of them.

I watched my granddaughter run her very first Mayor’s Run here in Lincoln. To anyone else, it might have looked like just another race, but to our family, it was a testament to her spirit. She is a survivor, and seeing her out there on the course was a powerful reminder of how far she has come.

Running with Heart

When the shot was fired to start the race, she didn’t just participate—she ran hard. From the starting line to the final stretch, she was a “hard charger” in every sense of the word. She didn’t let up, she didn’t quit, and she poured every bit of her energy into that race.

Watching her push herself all the way to the finish line brought so much pride to my heart. It’s that same resilience she carries with her every day.

More Than a Race

As an Indoff Partner, I spend my days focusing on durability, engineering, and things built to last. But nothing is as durable or as well-built as the spirit of this young lady. I love her to death, and I am constantly in awe of her grit and her joy.

To my granddaughter: You ran a great race, but more importantly, you are a champion every single day. Keep charging hard.

“She was shouting, ‘Winners never quit!’

Honoring the Elite: A Salute to the 82nd Airborne and the Rangers

As a veteran of both the Iowa National Guard and the United States Navy, I have a deep and lasting respect for those who serve in our military’s most elite units. Today, I want to take a moment to recognize the men and women of the 82nd Airborne Division and the U.S. Army Rangers.

Before my time as a Petty Officer at NAS Miramar, I served as a Guardsman with Company B, 168th Infantry in Corning, Iowa. Having stood in those boots, I understand the discipline and readiness required of our infantry and elite forces.

A Legacy of Excellence

The 82nd Airborne, the “All-American Division,” and the elite Ranger Regiments represent the pinnacle of American military readiness. They are often the first to respond in times of crisis, carrying a heavy responsibility for our national security. Their motto to “Lead the Way” is a standard of excellence that I strive to carry into my professional work every day.

Safe Travels to Our Troops

To the soldiers currently preparing for missions or stationed far from home: we thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Our thoughts are with you and your families during these times of preparation and deployment.

Hello to all our service members and their families. Please know that we stand behind you. Wishing you safe travels and a successful mission. We look forward to your safe return.

Beyond the Flight Line: Remembering Lt. Mike Curtain

The world looks at naval aviation through the lens of air shows and Hollywood blockbusters. We see the precision, the scream of the jet engines, and the gleaming aircraft. But for those of us who worked the line at NAS Miramar, the reality was often much heavier. We didn’t just see the glory; we saw the sacrifice.

A Debt of Respect

I served as a Petty Officer at Miramar in the 1980s. It was a world of high stakes and “everlasting memories,” both good and tragic. One memory that has never left me is the loss of Lt. Mike Curtain.

He was a Naval Aviator who gave everything to his craft and his country. He lost his life just one day before the air show was set to begin—a sobering reminder that the “Top Gun” lifestyle wasn’t a movie set; it was a dangerous, daily profession. Lt. Curtain deserves the utmost respect of our country, not just for his skill in the cockpit, but for the bravery it took to strap into that seat every single day.

Reality vs. The Silver Screen

Living that life gives you a different perspective on the stories the world tells. Many people remember the famous movie scenes where pilots ditch their aircraft, but in the real Navy, I saw a different kind of heroism.

I remember an F-14 that returned to the deck missing its canopy and its RIO (Radar Intercept Officer). While a movie might show a pilot punching out, this pilot stayed with the bird and saved the aircraft. The RIO had ejected, but because the “king switch” hadn’t been flipped for a dual ejection, the pilot was left to bring that jet home alone through the wind and noise.

The Bonds of the Service

The military is a world that isn’t always what it seems from the outside. It’s a collection of souls and shipmates who become part of your DNA. Whether it was the long hours on the line or the incidents that stayed with us long after we took off the uniform, those bonds are permanent.

To Lt. Mike Curtain and all the shipmates I served with: You are not forgotten. We keep the watch by remembering your names and telling your stories.

Mastery in Motion: Delivering Triple-Stream Solutions

Design, Logistics, and Military-Grade Precision

Leveraging over 40 years of expertise and a discipline forged in the U.S. Navy and Army National Guard, I recently spearheaded a complex, three-part project in the Lincoln area. My background manning the flightline for the F-14 Tomcat taught me that success depends on technical precision and flawless coordination—principles I bring to every office environment I build.

This project was a significant undertaking in multi-system integration and city-wide logistics. I personally designed all three environments, navigating the unique challenges of three distinct furniture lines: Herman Miller AO2, Herman Miller Resolve, and Teknion T/O/S.

My role as an Indoff Partner was a “boots-on-the-ground” leadership position that covered the entire lifecycle of the project:

  • Logistics & Relocation: I coordinated with move companies to transport the systems furniture from various buildings across Lincoln to the project site, managing the distribution and staging of parts to ensure a smooth assembly flow.

  • Lead Installer (Teknion T/O/S): While I managed multiple installation crews across the sites, I personally executed the assembly of the Teknion T/O/S portion. Given the system’s high-capacity technical requirements, I took point on this installation to ensure the structural and technical integrity met my exacting standards.

  • Technical Interface: I worked directly with electrical and data trades to properly balance power loads across these different systems and designate the routing for Cat 6 cabling and terminations.

  • Modern Enhancements: I integrated soundproof ROOM Phone Booths to provide the necessary privacy for solo calls and virtual meetings in the modern shared workspace.

Despite the immense number of moving parts—from evaluating pre-owned inventory to managing third-party move teams and installers—all three projects were delivered on time, on budget, and with zero client-facing hitches. I don’t just sell furniture; I provide the mission-critical planning and execution that only four decades of experience and military discipline can deliver.

In Everlasting Memory: The 67

Honoring the Aviators of the F-14 Tomcat

To the world, the F-14 Tomcat was a symbol of strength—a twin-tailed titan that commanded the carrier deck and the open skies. But to those of us who stood on the flight line, who lock-wired on its jet engines and signaled its launches, it was more than an aircraft. It was a shared responsibility.

Today, I pause to honor the 67 pilots and radar intercept officers who gave their last full measure of devotion while operating this aircraft.
