Why the OM Seating Ginny is a Crowd-Pleaser for Commercial Spaces

Finding a commercial seating solution that balances durability, style, and versatility can feel like a tall order. As an Indoff Partner, I work with a lot of different clients—from corporate offices to bustling healthcare facilities—and there is one chair series that consistently receives glowing feedback: the OM Seating Ginny.

My clients love the Ginny because it doesn’t compromise. It’s built like a tank but styled for modern spaces. Here is a closer look at why the Ginny series stands out from the crowd.

Stout Construction Built to Last

When you invest in commercial furniture, you need to know it can handle heavy daily use. The Ginny series is engineered for serious durability.

  • High Weight Capacities: The standard Ginny Guest and Tasker models are rated for up to 300 lbs.

  • Ginny Bariatric: For heavy-duty needs, the Bariatric model supports up to 600 lbs., offering inclusive, sturdy support without sacrificing the sleek look of the rest of the line.

Thoughtful, Facility-Friendly Design

OM Seating paid close attention to the little details that facilities managers and cleaning crews appreciate.

  • Wall Saver Design: The guest and bariatric models are engineered so the backrest won’t scrape or scuff your drywall, saving you money on paint and repairs.

  • Vertical Clean-Out: A smart gap between the seat and back allows dirt, crumbs, and debris to be wiped away instantly.

  • Upholstered Back shell: Gives the chair a premium, fully finished look from every angle, making it perfect for open spaces.

Modern Style with Endless Customization

The Ginny doesn’t look like your average, sterile utility chair. It features elegant design flairs like flat oval tubing and mirror-curved arm frames, topped with soft-touch PU arms for extra comfort.

Even better, it’s a chameleon. You can mix and match options to fit your exact aesthetic and functional needs:

  • Mobility: Choose between standard glides or smooth casters.

  • Configurations: Available with or without arms to suit different spaces.

  • Space-Saving: The Ginny Guest model stacks 3 high, making it incredibly easy to store when you need to clear the room.

  • Finishes: A myriad of frame colors and upholstery options are available to match your brand.

The Indoff Advantage Because the Ginny line is so customizable, having an expert guide you through the options ensures you get the perfect fit for your budget and space. Whether you need a sleek task chair for an employee desk or robust seating for a high-traffic waiting room, I can help you configure the perfect Ginny setup.

Summer Break is Asset Upgrade Season

While the campus is quiet, the work does not stop. As an Indoff Partner, I recently completed a wall-attached Allsteel Concensys workstation installation for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Executing this project during the summer break allowed us to complete the layout efficiently, ensuring zero disruption to the upcoming academic term.

The True Value of Quality Systems Furniture

Investing in tier-one contract furniture like Allsteel Concensys is a major step toward commercial sustainability. True environmental responsibility isn’t just about recycling; it is about extending the lifecycle of our physical assets.

  • Diverting from Landfills: High-quality commercial furniture is engineered for reconfiguration, relocation, and decades of use. Buying contract-grade pieces prevents the frequent replacement cycles that send cheaper alternatives directly to the landfill.

  • Built for the Long Haul: The structural integrity of the Concensys system ensures it can handle the heavy demands of a bustling university environment year after year.

  • Adaptable Design: The modular, wall-attached design means these stations can be updated or adapted as the university’s spatial needs evolve, rather than being discarded.

A Continuous Pipeline of Projects

Today marks the kickoff of a major, consecutive series of installations that I will be managing over the coming weeks.

Sustainable space management requires a partner who understands how to source durable products and install them to maximize their lifespan. Whether you are managing higher education facilities, corporate headquarters, or healthcare networks, your furniture choices impact your bottom line and your carbon footprint.

Looking to upgrade your environment with a focus on longevity and sustainability? As your dedicated Indoff Partner, I handle everything from sourcing sustainable, high-performance contract furniture to professional, precise installation.

Mastery in Motion: Delivering Triple-Stream Solutions

Design, Logistics, and Military-Grade Precision

Leveraging over 40 years of expertise and a discipline forged in the U.S. Navy and Army National Guard, I recently spearheaded a complex, three-part project in the Lincoln area. My background manning the flightline for the F-14 Tomcat taught me that success depends on technical precision and flawless coordination—principles I bring to every office environment I build.

This project was a significant undertaking in multi-system integration and city-wide logistics. I personally designed all three environments, navigating the unique challenges of three distinct furniture lines: Herman Miller AO2, Herman Miller Resolve, and Teknion T/O/S.

My role as an Indoff Partner was a “boots-on-the-ground” leadership position that covered the entire lifecycle of the project:

  • Logistics & Relocation: I coordinated with move companies to transport the systems furniture from various buildings across Lincoln to the project site, managing the distribution and staging of parts to ensure a smooth assembly flow.

  • Lead Installer (Teknion T/O/S): While I managed multiple installation crews across the sites, I personally executed the assembly of the Teknion T/O/S portion. Given the system’s high-capacity technical requirements, I took point on this installation to ensure the structural and technical integrity met my exacting standards.

  • Technical Interface: I worked directly with electrical and data trades to properly balance power loads across these different systems and designate the routing for Cat 6 cabling and terminations.

  • Modern Enhancements: I integrated soundproof ROOM Phone Booths to provide the necessary privacy for solo calls and virtual meetings in the modern shared workspace.

Despite the immense number of moving parts—from evaluating pre-owned inventory to managing third-party move teams and installers—all three projects were delivered on time, on budget, and with zero client-facing hitches. I don’t just sell furniture; I provide the mission-critical planning and execution that only four decades of experience and military discipline can deliver.
